Brazos River Forecast Update – 4/10/2019 @ 10AM

As anticipated, the NWS revised the earlier forecasts and now forecast the Brazos River cresting at a gage elevation of approximately 34.5 on Friday April 12th. This is 10 feet below minor flood stage. Rains forecast for the region on Saturday and Sunday are expected to be heaviest north and east of town, outside of the Brazos River basin.

The LID 17 team will continue to monitor the river and weather forecasts to maintain preparedness for situations that may arise and potentially impact our community.
